”Originário de Hull, Inglaterra, cidade-mãe dos Throbbing Gristle, Richie Culver vive atualmente no Porto, sendo justamente reconhecido como um dos pintores mais entusiasmantes e prolíficos desta geração. Richie explora a relação embrionária com a subcultura das raves, da boheme, do DIY, que nos desvenda com uma sensibilidade desafiante. Estreia no Understage o seu novo projeto discográfico, intitulado “I was born by the sea”, editado pela recém criada, REIF. Com ele, Richie Culver encerra um período de intensa introspeção e avaliação emocional que serve de declaração otimista das intenções e um olhar final para os lugares dolorosos em que toca.”

”Recente duo originário de Santa Maria da Feira que se formou e vive no Porto. Cruzando-se previamente enquanto integrantes do Colectivo Bergado e Terebentina, Francisco Oliveira e António Feiteira convergem agora numa música definitiva — ritual oracular, fazem-se conduzir pelas rotas inteligíveis da vertigem e do delírio, concêntricas apenas na deliberada espiritualidade. O primeiro disco está previsto para o primeiro semestre de 2023 — até lá, com a devida urgência, vai aflorando o círculo, fazendo-se sempre ouvir enquanto a candeia tiver lume.”
O concerto em coprodução com a Matéria Prima começas às 22:30 (GMT) no Subpalco do Teatro Rivoli, Porto.

”Originally from Hull, England, hometown of Throbbing Gristle, Richie Culver currently lives in Porto and is rightly recognized as one of the most exciting and prolific painters of this generation. Richie explores the embryonic relationship with the subculture of raves, boheme, DIY, which he unveils with a challenging sensitivity. His new record project, entitled “I was born by the sea”, edited by the newly created REIF premieres on Understage. With it, Richie Culver ends a period of intense introspection and emotional evaluation that serves as an optimistic declaration of intent and a final look at the painful places he touches.”
