"As ÁCIDAs não são uma festa, nem são sequer uma rave, elas inserem-se mais no “universo situacionista”. Em “What is Ácida?” conta-se a história deste coletivo que vem ocupando vários locais inesperados do Grande Porto há já vários anos. A música, o movimento, as atuações multidisciplinares, a pornografia e o improviso marcam estes eventos; esta curta recupera e recorda a efemeridade desses momentos."
"Os mais belos jogos de inteligência deixaram de nos interessar.
A teoria pseudo-revolucionária e o levantamento de peso intelectual de pura reverência podem permanecer nas prateleiras destinadas à decadência. Nada pode desculpar a vida de ser apaixonado e a Ácida sabe como o fazer.
Dançar até ao amanhecer não é suficiente, mas já é em grande parte o barroco em protesto. A energia consumida, as solas em profundo desgaste não serão em vão. Apesar da hostilidade e das manobras do mundo, os participantes desta aventura, temerosos em todos os aspectos, juntam-se para ostentar a revolta no auge dos bons fecundos. Ácida veio para ficar e não se adaptará aos tempos, mas os tempos terão de se adaptar a Ácida".

In "What is Ácida?", the story of this collective that has been occupying various unexpected places in Porto for several years is told. Despite the hostility and maneuvers of the world, the participants of this adventure, fearful in all aspects, get together to flaunt the revolt in a height of good feclings. Ácida has come to stay and will not adapt to the times, but the times will have to adapt to Ácida."
