Runtime Error is the last EP of the Portuguese duo EMMA, formed by Pedro Costa (Esposende) and Raul Cardoso (Amarante).
Launched by the Spanish label "Deep Different Records", this one presents a cinematic sound, evoking an imagery full of escape plans, in a constant metamorphosis, sometimes slow and sometimes abrupt, that never wants to end in an evident form and with perfectly delineated lines. It celebrates the fusion of machine and man and points to dystopian scenarios. With a markedly four-on-the-floor rhythm, and melodic notes that sometimes get close, sometimes they repel, sometimes they thicken, sometimes they fall apart, looking for a deep emotional relationship with the listener without shame.
